Comments
Comments: About an inch or two of new powder overnight on top of a generally packed footbed. Some minor drifting above the Mizpah junction, reaffirming the choice of snowshoes. At treeline, there were significant new drifts multiple feet high. Relatively smooth sailing up the short segment of Webster Cliff Trail on hardpack. Rare 360 degree views from the summit courtesy the snowpack. Bitter cold sunrise, but nice display.
