| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot is plowed and there was plenty of room. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All remain well-bridged |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Excellent trail, thanks to all the trail breakers over the past couple of weeks. Lots of branch attacks to the head in the deep sections. Some duck-unders. Stay in the middle of the trail to avoid the deep soft snow on the sides where post-holing is a risk. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No dogs on the mountain yesterday |
|
| Bugs: |
Not yet |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Found gear bag near the summit. Returned to owner. Leaving notes on the cars in the lot giving contact details was a very good idea. |

| Comments: |
An excellent hike in perfect late winter conditions. The trail ws well-defined and the bushwhack was easy to follow. We met only a few others and everyone was smiling today. |
