These are probably the only conditions that allow dogs to do Beaver Brook safely. Both our dogs made it up and down without problems. |

Still three-or-so feet of packed powder. Edges of packed trail are very deep, and post holing is beginning to be a problem. Light traction perfectly adequate all the way up and down. A few windblown/powdery sections, but fine. Above treeline is bare rock or patchy ice. |
