| Comments: |
Trail was soft through out but snow shoes worked well. Minimal balling in areas where sun had hit the most along the WRT. The wind was very strong and gusty early in the day especially near the junction of the WRT and 19 mile brook trail and while climbing up to A. Also strong winds at the top of Polecat. Ski area appeared to be closed as we didn't see anyone anywhere on the walk down and out of the ski area. Road walk was a pleasant 2.9 mile walk with almost no wind. Great views of the Presis. Great day out with Franco. |
