Valley Way is well packed down. Light traction for the first two miles then snowshoes are the way to go until the hut. Above treeline light traction or snowshoes are fine. Lots of rocks up Osgood Trail but enough snow to find an ok snowshoe route in most spots if you leave them on. Many thanks to Monica for setting the tracks up to Madison and congrats on your W48 finish on Jefferson! It was a great morning in the Northern Presi's, the winds were tame and the views were huge :) |
