A very good day with FAB views of the Northern Presis and very little wind on the Wildcat Ridge. Trail for the most part is very well packed down and easy to navigate. Just wish more folks would come prepared with snowshoes as well as spikes. There is an appropriate time to use either equipment. But, if you posthole the trail, you should be using snow shoes. I know, hike your hike, but also be considerate of your fellow hikers too. Congrats to my hiking partner BA on 31 & 32 with 33% of those ALL season hikes being Full Winter or winter conditions :) |
