Comments
Comments: Unskied portions of the trail were post holed with deep snow but our passage smoothed things out. In the glades area much of the hiking trail had been skied and the glades were generally hard-packed and deeply carved. From the outlook up, the trail had been heavily skied, funneling into the cutoff to the restaurant, and the summer route was not broken. We broke it and the Rim Trail out in bizarre, deep drifts.
Great hike with Sarah.
