Comments
Comments: plan was to summit north and south, but Kinsman Pond tr hadn't seen any traffic in a while and I rebroke the trail. 4-6 inches...nice trough to follow, until nearing the pond and then drifts obliterated it. i was hoping to get to the ridge in 3 hrs, but i was moving slower than anticipated. after scrabbling around with the blowdown on kinsman pond tr, i readjusted my plan to just tag North Kinsman, but once I got to the pond (3h45mins) and looked up at the summit, i knew i didn't have it in me. enjoyed the sunshine on the pond, had a snack and turned around. a redlining day!
