Comments: Great day! Sunshine and no wind trumped cold temperatures. Lots of snow. We pushed a 90 cm. ice axe to its hilt on the packed trail. Snow depths were 3 to 4 ft above the trail. No postholes...wore snowshoes car-to-car.
