Nice day in the woods even with plummeting temperature - 17 above in Lincoln at 5:30 am; 2 above at trailhead on return at 1:15 pm. An inch of overnight snow on well defined and traveled trench. Steeps are unconsolidated higher up and moderate drifts on the ridge with some portions totally drifted over. |
