The Gale River Tr had seen 3-4 inches of new snow overnight. The drifts got deeper as the elevation got higher. Some drifts were up to 3ft deep. The Frost Tr was hard to follow in some places with drifts 3-4 feet deep. We wore snowshoes from car to car. Long day breaking all the trails. The trails are in fairly good shape even though we were the only two to summit today. Feels great to say that there isn't a single post hole along the entire route!!! |
