Comments
Comments: OAB via Pine Bend Brook Trail with group of 5 plus dog, RGoH. Ran into group of 5, groups of 2 (x2), and one solo halfway up PBBT. Broke trail from there to summits through ~10" fresh midweight powder with drifts and some unstable sastrugi on ridge. Av. snow depth 3'+, deeper in places. Trail was nicely packed on descent but new snowstorm tonight will make all that hard work for nothing. Tree canopy is starting to close in due to snow depth. Will be suitable only for hobbits if this keeps up. (We had intended to descend via Sabbbaday, breaking it out, but with storm rolling in opted for the OAB).
