Comments
Comments: The tracks starting from the trail head ended by the ski trail intersection. There was a fair amount of new snow but you could feel the old track underneath and the minute you stepped off you went down another 12". Took the high route across engine hill. Went into a small stream 1/4 mile from the other side of Rocky Branch that added 10 pounds to each snow shoe. Managed to get off and get it back together. Joe Cedar from the ADK's and I got over across the ridge (davis path) with no problems but had to put on face and i pro. The drift just below the top of Isolation was quite thick but we got up and over summit-ed and got out. The wind had filled in tracks on the ridge and in the birches on engine hill in spots on the way out.
