Fact : Roughly 6" of the lightest, fluffiest, very pliable powder I have seen in quite a while. The snow stayed where it landed. Opinion : If the trail you are contemplating was tracked before the "Norlun Trough" Wed night then you should not let any concern about having to break it deter you. If, however, it was not I suggest you take a friend with you. Met two going up on my descent so at least three on 'shoes up and down today. Now packed but not consolidated. Snowshoes are your friends. |
