Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of duck unders on Garfield Ridge trail. One "you-pick" just above the view point above the brook. Tried to crawl over on the way up and got hung up on a stub. Crawled under on the way down seemed to work better for me.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy for dogs but not much open water right now
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found what looks like a key chain?
Comments: Many thanks to the crew that packed the trails out yesterday. It really was a "magnificent snow shoe track" FranM!! Perfect blue sky day with no wind and the best packed trail I've been on in awhile. That said, snow shoes are your friends. Bare booting this trail right now would be miserable. First time I've seen the other side of the river in awhile, a refreshing change. Thanks again to FranM for posting and the crew for their work which made my hike awesome.
