Bugs
Bugs: On the way up, deet kept them at bay - on the way down had to reapply deet as they were swarming and biting

Comments
Comments: It's an odd day when the weather channel, accuweather and the MWOBS get the weather wrong - called for partly cloudy skies - at the summit - was in the clear with clouds and views into the pemi across to the bonds (which were in the clouds) to start - couldn't see at all into Franconia Notch - Flume ended up in the clouds after 15 minutes.

Osseo was wet all the way due to the recent rain but easily hiked, only a few patches of mud - a few in the stretch among the woooden ladders and a few along the ridge above the ladders before the junction with the Flume Slide trail - but all easily crossed. The rocks on the last stretch up to the summit above the flume slide junction were dry even given the clouds blowing across the summit. A good day even with the clouds, saw ten people today - 4 came up flume slide. Osseo is an absolute joy to hike, one of the best trail to a 4K in the whites.
