Comments
Comments: If you need/want the Bonds now would be the time before the next snow/wind. Well snow shoe packed from two great groups on Sunday. Today there was generally 2" of new snow down low to 3"-6" up higher. There was no drifting until approaching Bond Cliff and then between the peaks. However the drifts were minor compared to what I and others have been seeing in other places. Nice to meet Mike and Pemi for a few minutes on their way traversing Lincoln to Zealand. At about 9am there was blue sky ahead but by noon there were clouds and limited views. By the time I got to West Bond it was totally socked in. Can't stress enough that right now snow shoes are your friends. Awesome day to get these peaks, sooooo glad I went. Again a huge thanks to the Jeb Bradley and Heather and Kali groups for coming up with and executing an outstanding plan to break out the Bonds.
