Comments
Comments: There were a few of us that needed to get across the Bonds and with the recent snow storm after snow storm the plan was hatched to have a group go N to S and another group go S to N and meet in the middle. Our group headed in via Hale and out the Bonds. Per, Steve B, Wayne, Allen, Jeb B, Bill C, and John G went S to N. We met the first four right about on Guyot and the last three at West Bond Spur. This plan worked well as the trail breaking was arduous at best coming across the Twinway. I am sure they agreed that it was great to find it all broken out after we passed each other. Someone had recently been ALMOST to Zealand Spur and turned around. So close but yet so far, the trail breaking started. The three guys did most of it but Karine and I took a couple at bats each. Joe D, Jeff and Ryan with the 30" snowshoes are rock stars. My heros of the day! Kali and I hugged and wagged on Bondcliffs in celebration of our goal achieved so early in the season. What a dog! Then happy chatter out until the death march of Lincoln Woods, nothing better than two days in a row! Too soft to carry snow shoes out so we wore them, perfect! Thank you to all for a great day, I am so lucky to have these friends, the only thing missing was Dan.
