Comments
Comments: *9am start at Lafayette Campground
*lower half of lonesome lake trail packed out nicely. A couple inches of fresh snow.
*Missed hi cannon..continued to lonesome lake
*Dodge cutoff was knee to waist deep to Hi Cannon.
*Hi cannon was somewhat better but still needs more breaking in
*Ladder was sketchy. Powder on ice. Could have changed into hillsounds at this point. An ice axe would not have hurt either. Made it on my third try. Lots of leaners all the way up.
*Smoothe sailing to summit on nice powder once i hit kinsman ridge trail.
*Switched to Hillsounds for steep section of Kinsman ridge heading down. Snowshoes went back on quickly
*Lonesome lake trail was powder heaven heading back to the lake. Smoothe sailing back to Lafayette Campground
