Comments
Comments: Forgot just how sparsely blazed this area is!!! Trench was visible for the first 2/3's of the trip, but drifted in above the junction with Cabot Trail to the summit. Above the cabin was completely drifted over, 1-2' drifts and trees nearly completely rime covered, making careful route finding a must! Solo out and back, and likely the snow last night and the winds obscured any tracks I made, though the trench is quite well packed under the new snow. Lots of hare tracks, and one lonely set of moose tracks down low. York Pond Rd and trailheads are in perfect shape, no problems getting in or out!
