Excellent hike! Only met up with one hiker on the trail to Hale: the guy who was breaking trail. Once again - Thanks, dude!
There's a steep section about half way up the trail where you'll be hugging the trail. Be cautious and take one firmly-planted step at a time. The firmness of the ground can be deceiving. Trekking poles were extremely useful. |
