Comments
Comments: No signs of any travel on Signal Ridge since the last storm.

Breaking trail in 4" of snow at lower elevation increasing all the way up. Below the ridge itself I was fighting drifts of 3' and it was very hard going. A few sections are crusted as all the new snow has been blown away.

Many sections - even with 1'+ deep tracks - had drifted over again by the time I was descending. With continued high winds there will still be plenty of trail-breaking to do on Signal Ridge for those who have the appetite.

I measured somewhere between -15 and -20F just below the summit and despite being "combat-ready" for the ridge I was knocked over several times.
