Comments
Comments: Original plan was Beaver Brook, but none of the snow wanted to stay in Kinsman Notch, preferring to blow up our nares, the decision was to head back around and go up the tried and true Gorge Brook Trail. 6 turned into 2 by the drop of a hat and Dan and I were off. Out and back was pretty straight forward, battened down the hatches and steamed ahead to the wicked wild and crazy summit. Everything in the pack went on today, three pairs of pants and four jackets, face mask, buff and neoprene mask but the goggles stayed in the car, I will pay for that move. Great summit with lots of hooting and celebrating. Great day to be above treeline (briefly:)) Thanks Dan for a great Moosilauke!
