Comments
Comments: Afternoon solo up Pierce then Jackson looping to return. Crawford to Pierce and W-J to Jackson very well broken out and packed with a little bit of loose material atop. Some tricky icy spots near bottom of W-J Trail. Ridge between peaks past hut had not been broken out and was covered with drifts in many places from a few inches to knee deep--always surprises me how much drift can accumulate from just a few inches of new snow. Noticed only one other hiking crossing the ridge behind me. (All of this is going to change this week with the big storm coming--so why am I writing this, lol).
