Comments
Comments: We really lucked out with a perfect day! Winds were calm and temps were mild. The snow was very well packed (thanks to snow shoes and people sliding down, I assume). We wore microspikes the entire way. Could have actually used crampons for the very steep/icy section are you approach the summit. There is one REALLY narrow section, where you have to hold onto a rock to get around the corner, it's about 1 mile from the summit. Be careful on the way down, it's very slick!! Most of the trail is packed snow and easy to navigate with microspikes. This is probably one of the steepest trails I've ever done. #37 for us!
