Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails in good shape, much better than last month, the duck unders have been relieved of their snow burden. Easy to follow as there must have been a parade yesterday with the low winds.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali did a great job! She is a brave little dog.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: nothing lost, found a little peace of mind.
Comments: Ryan and I decided to brave the winds and go for it anyway. We were pleasantly surprised at our ability to stay upright! The winds were roaring over the ridge. Roaring. It was slow and steady from Lafayette to Little Haystack and then some trail breaking in the much needed cover of trees to Liberty Springs. Up to Liberty and across to Flume uneventful but managed to see a few folks out enjoying the clearing skies and lowered winds. Hard ridge walk today but totally worth it. This will be a remember that day, for a long time! Thank yous to the Monkey's Uncle for bravery and one hell of a hike!
