Comments
Comments: Lincoln Woods was hard packed and icy. Osseo was choppy for a few at the bottom, but smoothed out nicely until the ladders. Hard packed snowshoe track until here. Ladders are covered with hard pack and some powder with steps kicked in. Spikes worked fine. Drifting above on the ridge could warrant snow shoes, however there is a narrow slick side hill "no fall zone" nearing the top that may be tricky in shoes. One easy walk-through blow down. Flume slide looked untouched and untracked.
Great day on the ridge. Lincoln Woods was hard packed and icy. Osseo was choppy for a few at the bottom, but smoothed out nicely until the ladders. Hard packed snowshoe track until here. Use caution butt sliding down steeps and ladders. There are a few poorly placed stumps just barely poking through. Ouch.
