Comments
Comments: Fantastic Weather, 10-30 degrees and almost no wind at all; blue skies.
Lower third of trail has quite a bit of ice and snow is patchy, slush turned to ice and melt turned to ice. Higher up is decent packed snow which can be done with snowshoes/microspikes. Once reached the Franconia Ridge Trail there was a foot or so of unpacked snow. Switched to snowshoes for the rest of the way to the Liberty summit. Summit had some snow, not too icy. Great winter 4000 footer!
