Comments
Comments: Needless to say, it was a banner day in the mountains, hardly a breeze in the afternoon. Used microspikes from car to Greenleaf Hut. Swapped over to snowshoes there, more for the televators then the snow depth, though there are some drifted areas that the shoes were good for. Kept them on across the top and down Falling Waters. Should have definitely swapped to the crampons at the boiler plate ice...would have made it way easier...just didn't know how much there would be...turns out, enough to justify putting the crampons on. Trails are well packed for the most part.
