Comments
Comments: The moon was out while driving but the sky became overcast at sunrise. Temps from 0 to 20 with a strong breeze at both summits. No views as the cloud line was at about 3,200 feet with both summits socked in. Saw 10 hikers today, 4 were on the Greeley Ponds Trail enjoying a snowshoe hike, the other 6 climbed the Osceola's. The trails were in good shape with a hard packed base. The steep section going up East Peak was difficult but doable with light traction or crampons. Using trees to help pull yourself up the trail or to slow you down on the way down. About an inch of new snow and some drifting up high. Another great day out in the mountains.
