Comments
Comments: hnd and nr conquered the Tris in 12.6m! we barefooted to bottom of southern slide, where we laced up with crampons and kept them on till Scaur Ridge tr, where we put on snowshoes. the slide was fine, only two spots that were real slick. Tripyramid trail was fantastically packed out, but Scaur Ridge needs more traffic. coldest temps i've ever hiked in, but still found myself sweating and stripping down to base layers. overcast skies the whole day and fat fluffy snowflakes swirled down on our descent. Great day!
