Comments: Drove up Mount Washington via the Auto Road in order to spend some time viewing/photographing the wildflowers in the Alpine Garden -- they are going full tilt right now, so see them as soon as possible. In fact, some blooms are just slightly past peak at elevations just below the Alpine Garden (along the Auto Road). Note that the steep 0.2-mile section of the Huntington Ravine between the Auto Road and the Alpine Garden Trail is covered with about a foot of slushy snow on top of packed ice -- it was bare-bootable with care/caution.
