Snowshoes from start to finish.
It would have been a pretty easy hike today were it not for the bare booters (I counted three sets of tracks) that were out yesterday (See Geoff's post from January 4). Come on people, don't brag about post holing up to your thighs. Geoff, you should have been out there today to see the damage you created without proper footwear.
The trails are now beginning to set up but still require snowshoes while there is unpacked powder, more snow is needed to fill in the holes that were made on Sunday. |
