Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot on the hair pin turn is plowed and was nearly full.

Water Crossing Notes: Crossings were solidly bridged

Trail Maintenance Notes: By comparison there were relatively few issues on this loop hike and none difficult to deal with.

Dog-Related Notes: Going up either side of the loop should be easy but coming down could be tough on some. We followed a first hike dog down the south side. Her human did an outstanding job of helping her get through the obviously uncomfortable situation

Comments: Fast hard packed trial car to car. I bare booted up the north while Franco used Hillsounds. He felt that if he did it over he probably would have bare booted. On the way down we both used Hillsounds and it felt like the right choice. Lots of folks out today on this frosty start morning. 2 pairs of over nighters in -5 weather. Turned out to be a beautiful day with lots of great folks.
