Bogwalks in dire need of replacement - herd paths around are becoming more prominent. Waterbars could use some clearing. |

| Bugs: |
A few mosquitoes and deer flies down low, but not much of an issue if moving. Black flies pesky at summit in between wind gusts. |

| Lost and Found: |
Single snowshoe sitting at the trailhead sign. |

| Comments: |
Trail was dry all the way to Mt. Surprise and past the ledges above it. Upon reaching the endless ups and downs, there were a few patches of mud (including the rotting bogwalk area), a few tiny patches of snow, and a few slipperty ledges. |
