Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings handled with care. There was one, closer to the Hancock junction that needs more care as the ice is not thick enough to support your weight with a direct route. Be careful!

Trail Maintenance Notes: No serious issues to note - in good shape. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw two on our morning out, both seemed happy & spirited. Dogs shouldn't have any major issues, but prepare them for the cold.

Comments
Comments: Nothing special to note here, the trails were in good condition. We chose to do the loop in the counterclockwise direction. I added crampons about halfway up the trail to South Hancock, and kept them on for the rest of the day to our camp, and then on the way out in the morning. There's a fair amount of snow which is not that well packed, along with some seriously thick sections of ice. Traction highly recommended.
