| Comments: |
Dicey's Mill trail is in excellent shape all the way to the summit. Packed snow, well covered. It snowed on the way up and was a beautiful hike. Rollins is in decent shape. Some postholes to watch out for as they were starting to fill in with blown snow. Otherwise, it was fine. The ledges are very icy. Where the snow is deep, there were good footsteps to step into so they weren't too bad. There was one vertical, ledge which had ice flow all along it so we used a rope to help us down. After the ledges, Blueberry trail was a mess of rocks, thin ice and snow. Difficult with tracton, impossible without. Just slow and annoying. A fantastic day out. |
