| Comments: |
Wanted to hit Carter Notch from the back side and glad we did..footing is good on all trails we did today, except for some areas of mud and grass..lots of blowdowns on Wild River Trail and upper Bog..new bunkhouses at Carter Hut looked great and the Rampart is unique..got over to Perkins Notch Shelter for my shelter-bagging list..bird singing was quite heavy today wish I knew them all..also beautiful "wild" area with great green vegetation mixed in a great forest.... |
