Comments
Comments: It was really cold out this morning so we hiked at a quick pace to keep warm. It really didn't feel that cold until the summit when we got the full arctic chill after just a few minutes. Trails down low are a mix of snow cover, bare ground, ice, water. the snow at upper elevations is solid and light traction worked fine. In-between Garfield and Galehead there's not much use so it's choppy with some minor punching through in spots. Nice early morning hike with Whitney, Kyle D, Tim, and Gryffin the Golden Retriever.
