Water Crossing Notes: Hale Brook is halfway frozen over. Crossing is tricky but doable.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns. Only two that you need to go under - at 5'3" I got under them easy.

Comments
Comments: The trail is mostly packed frozen snow. There's still some running water on the trail, but not enough to be a problem. There's also some bare patches. On a day where the forecast for the peaks called for 20-30 mph winds, I felt no wind until I hit the summit.
