| Comments: |
Lower section starting just above the first water tub is largely open ground with running water, leaves and a thin layer of sloppy stuff. I found walking in it was easier than trying to avoid it. Above that is a very packed trail on snow that isn't very deep to start with. I bare booted car to car but some might prefer light traction. Section near summit had been heavily moose booted when the snow was softer. I waited until after the rain to head over so I arrived about 2:30. Nice temps and low wind made for a great walk up and enjoyable head lamp down. |
