So many minor/moderate blowdowns past Mt. Surprise we lost count. Most were easy over or arounds but definitely added 20+ minutes to hike time.

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Only one 'dawgie' at summit today. Warm day...seemed pretty happy. |
|
| Bugs: |
Heh_Heh..if it got much warmer today...maybe |

| Lost and Found: |
Nothing to report today. Always keeping an eye out and will gladly return if ever anything is found. |

| Comments: |
Snowshoes advisable at lower elevation due to warm temps...30's...mashed potatoes. Microspikes fine for higher elevations. With so many blowdowns today, snowshoes would be on/off continuously..so we opted to keep the spikes on. Winter will be back soon...surely. |
