There is a trail head to the right of the cog station at the cog parking lot. So don't walk back down the road to the trailhead that you can see driving to the parking lot. |

The trails above the tree line as expected are difficult to follow. You need to talk great care to follow the trail and not drift with the wind. There are also some large sheets of ice above the tree line. |
