Comments
Comments: Trail was firm allowing for light traction up to the point where the Bunnell Notch Tr makes a sharp left into the woods, leaving the old road. From here on we wore snowshoes all the way back to the car and this made for easier walking. Only significant post holing was made by the moose that came through earlier this morning. Cleared two small blowdowns, my saw couldn't handle the larger one just before the cabin. It was sad not seeing the unique summit sign - I hope some idiot did not take it for a souvenir. Other than that it was a great day to enjoy with Karen M, Karen R. and Dick W. Also nice to meet Bill C from New Castle.
