Found a jacket between the peaks from someone hiking on Saturday. On the way down found the scarf of a woman hiker who did just East Peak today. Brought them home so I can send them to their owners if they get in contact with me. If you think they are yours, send me a message with a description |

Greeley Ponds Trail well packed out, even past Mt. Osceola Trail. Mt Osceola Trail to the steep climb also well packed. I made it up with microspikes, while two other used crampons and one other used microspikes as well. Slick trail in many places due to glissading. Between the peaks I put on snowshoes since the snow was soft, but it could be done without them. Bypass of the chimney bypass is broken out, but a tight fit in places. Coming down from East Peak, the safest way is controlled glissading (even though I am not a fan of it). Enough others have done it that it would be hard to stay on your feet even with traction. |
