#5 crossing partially open but easy to get over |

one large blowdown between top of steep beginning section and start of bushwack |

was able to use hillsounds up to start of bushwack. From that point, snowshoes needed. The bushwack was completely windblown and very faint. It comes in to Isolation Trail a long way below #5 crossing. Trip beyond #5 consisted of ever deeper snow and spruce trees filled with snow blocking the way. There was much drifting and new snow on Davis Path. As I was headed back, 2 folks came up in my track. |
