Tuckerman was very well packed. Lion's head was not a well packed but broken, mostly by people in crampons. I wore snowshoes to treeline where I went to crampons. Great surface conditions, hard snow, not much ice. Very little wind and fairly warm. For the decent I actually barebooted most of the way.
I took the long way back following Raymond path. It was unbroken from the road to Huntington Ravine trail. Then there were a couple sets of tracks all the was down to Old Jackson Rd. |
