Comments
Comments: The 6" or so of new snow was unbroken save for a prior solo snowshoe. It was a very heavy powder that simply would not consolidate under us, making for a very hard time on the numerous sharp up/down pitches. Until our group of 10 trampled the flats into consolidated submission, they too were amazingly draining. So following our visit the flats are great, but the pitches still problematic.
