Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fine for dogs, there were two in the group I was with. They were having fun. :)
Bugs
Bugs: Nope.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost and found both my Hillsounds as they were sucked off my boots by thick slush pits.

Comments
Comments: Started solo, but met someone I know from a hiking forum and tagged along with their group for most of the hike. All trails are packed out good, I wore spikes up, others wore snowshoes. You can go either way right now. I bare-booted down as the snow was balling under my spikes. Crawford Path is pretty right now with all the snow sticking to the trees. We got blasted by wind once above treeline, making the summit stay brief. Stiff winds, very cold temps and poor visibility, maybe 40 feet, on top. Our tracks were blown away almost immediately. The descent was fairly quick and it was much warmer back in the trees. It certainly felt like full-on winter today!
