Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: Only did the 5th crossing and the ice bridge is not particularly thick. Was able to rock hop.

Dog-Related Notes: We had two dogs and the only "obstacles" were the slushy/muddy parts which froze on them.

Comments: The Engine Hill route is not the best one we've ever done. It does too high in the middle. Still, it was a nice day, not as cold as expected and the wind was less too. Bluebird skies :)
